- ~ Turbocom is commercial. Cybercom is freeware. They both do the
- ~ same thing. Use with Win 3.1 (not with Wfwg 3.11 or Win 95).
- ======================================
-
- I've used the commercial product TurboCom/2 for 2 years, both in Win 3.1 and
- now WfW 3.11, without one single Comm error of any type. Set my software to
- 115,200 DTE, RxFIFO Buffer at 14 (use an internal 14.4 with a 16550 UART)
- with rwin=8760, mss=1460.
-
- Start downloading a large text file at a 6+ KByte/sec rate using Mosaic
- (32-bit), then load and play DOOM to kill time, I can without errors! Try
- that with <cybercom.drv> and a 14.4 modem and see what happens. TurboCom/2
- and <cybercom.drv> definitely 'Do NOT Do the Same Thing'.
